XIII Workshop of the Argentine Crystallography Association

Crystallography and the Productive Sector

November 7, 2025
Mauricio A. L贸pez Auditorium - UNSLSan Luis, Argentina

The Workshop of the Argentine Crystallography Association is a satellite event of the Annual Meeting that has been held since 2012 with specific topics of relevance and/or that are desired to be promoted in the field of crystallography.

This year, during the thirteenth AACr Workshop, the aim is to foster interaction between the productive sector and the scientific capabilities that our country has in the field of crystallography.

Objectives

The objective of the XIII Workshop is to create a space for interaction between laboratory personnel from various industries, scientists specialized in techniques related to crystallography, and specialists in linkage and/or technology transfer.

The aim is to foster communication between these sectors, allowing the productive sector to present their needs, while the crystallography community will provide communications demonstrating the concrete applicability of this branch of science in solving various challenges of industrial interest. Additionally, the different crystallographic techniques available in the country will be presented, highlighting their potential in the industrial field.

Call for Participation

Representatives from industries in the country whose production involves or may need analysis of both raw materials and/or products through crystallographic techniques; for example: Pharmaceutical, Cement, Metallurgical, Mining Industries, etc.

Members of the scientific sector with experience in providing specialized technical services and/or technology transfer to the mentioned industrial sectors. Representatives of technology transfer units. AACr members.

Modality

The Workshop modality will consist of conferences and communications of case studies by the various actors of the meeting.

Target Audience

Researchers, professionals from the public and private sector, and students from different disciplines interested in learning various crystallographic and related techniques for solving problems in industry.
